US Marshall Jesse McLoughlin has always felt something about her was never quite right. That her skin fit all too wrong on this body and that her name were only a set of meaningless scribbles on a page. Over and over she would rewrite it, but never did it feel her own.
Jesse tries to set aside such silly notions and works hard at her job as an officer of the law, but little does she know the vague memories of childhood are false. She has no parents or relations, but doesn't seem to note completely just how much her life doesn't make sense.
AU Note: "Jesse" remembers vague bits and pieces of Ragnarok and dying, but she believes them just dreams. The more she remembers the more she regains some strength she use to have. Eventually it is possible she might reawaken as a Goddess, but the feat could very well be impossible.
